Anita Fontana, VP Marketing & Administration
Anita Fontana has 22 years collective experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods and Technology industries.
Her latest assignment was as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Operations for ECRM, an innovative trade organization promoting relationships and advancing leading edge buyer/seller techniques.
Spending 12+ years collaboratively working with clients from the food, drug and mass retail industry, including Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Schering Plough, Johnson & Johnson, CVS, Walgreens,
Rite Aid and Meijer to name a few, she has gained knowledge of various styles of marketing and merchandising in the CPG industry.
Anita was also editor-in-chief of a trade publication, ECRM Focus, that serviced the CPG industry for 10 years, which was distributed world-wide to retailers.
Incorporating her research, writing, layout and design expertise, she and her team published over 30 magazines a year. Project Management and Marketing has been one of Anita’s strongholds over her entire career.
Prior to her experience in the CPG industry, she was a network engineer working with companies like Dow Chemical and Sterling, Inc. assisting them with the development of network and cabling schema’s for their offices, clients and retail stores.
Personal
Anita grew up in a small suburb of Cleveland, Ohio and continues to reside in her home town today. She has a B.A. double major in Marketing and Management from Baldwin Wallace College and an Associates Degree in Computer Science.
Having a passion for flowers, gardens and the outdoors, Anita owned a flower shop in her home town for 8 years while she worked full time as a network engineer. She is an avid dog lover and can’t say no when a dog need a home. She is currently the proud adoptive mother of 3 dogs – Mario,
Luigi and Moose – each over 70 pounds.
